The Governor Hill Mansion

GHMHistoric.jpg
Maine's 45th Governor, John Freemont Hill commissioned the renowned architect John Calvin Stevens to design a mansion fit for a governor.  Completed in 1902, The Mansion was the Hill family home until it was donated to the Catholic church by Governor Hill's granddaughter.
Owned by Geoff Houghton, proprietor of The Liberal Cup in Hallowell and our exclusive caterer, The Governor Hill Mansion offers exceptional service and timeless charm. Events are expertly managed by our Events Director, Taylor Brown. Contact Taylor to reserve the Mansion for your next meeting, reception, or wedding celebration.
